Terms of service

These terms apply when you use bedsandmattresses.com.au or buy from Paul Giles (ABN 65 670 661 363), trading as Paul Giles Beds & Mattresses. By placing an order you agree to them. Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

Prices

  • All prices are in Australian dollars and include GST.
  • We keep fair prices all year round rather than running sales. If we change a price, the price shown when you place your order is the price you pay.
  • We take care to show prices and product details correctly. If we've made an obvious error, we'll contact you before going ahead, and you can cancel for a full refund.

Products

Product photos are a guide. Fabric colours can look slightly different on screen. Mattress and furniture sizes are nominal and may vary by a few centimetres, as is normal in the industry. Feel and firmness are personal, so we recommend trying our range in store.

Orders and payment

  • Online orders are paid in full at checkout.
  • In-store orders may need a deposit, with the balance due before delivery or collection. We'll confirm the amount when you order.
  • Your order is confirmed when we send you an order confirmation. If an item is unavailable, we'll contact you with options, including a full refund.

Delivery

  • We deliver with our own vehicles across Sydney and NSW. Delivery charges are shown at checkout and on our Delivery page. We'll call to arrange a delivery time and give you an estimated delivery date. If we can't deliver within that time, or a reasonable time, you can cancel for a full refund.
  • Please make sure someone 18 or over is home, and let us know about stairs, lifts or tight access when you order. If we can't deliver at the agreed time because no one is home, we may charge a redelivery fee to cover the cost of the extra trip. We'll tell you the amount before rebooking.
  • Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery or collection. Ownership passes once we've received full payment.
  • Removal of old mattresses and ensemble bases is available with the delivery of a new mattress, charged per piece at the price shown when you order.

Click & collect

You can choose free pickup from our Gladesville showroom at checkout. Please wait for our call to confirm your order is ready before coming in.

Cancellations

You can cancel an order before it's dispatched for a full refund. For made-to-order and custom items already ordered from the maker, we'll refund what you've paid less the reasonable costs we've already incurred. Returns are covered by our Refund policy.

Your consumer rights

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any guarantee, right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law, including compensation for reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.

Website use

All content on this website, including text, photos and our logo, belongs to Paul Giles Beds & Mattresses or our suppliers and is used with permission. Please don't copy it without asking.

General

These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales. We may update them from time to time, and the version on our website when you order applies to your order.
